It was quite intriguing trying to guess deduce who would be crowned the champion right until the entire thing was over.

The first top moment definitely has to be when we got to the end of the first seven races this season. There were five different winners and these winners all came from different teams. This was definitely one of those moments that anybody who thought they had put their money on the right team was definitely shaken. We cannot discuss the top moments of the 2012 F1 season without highlighting Sebastian Vettel being crowned the champion. With his loss of points when his alternator let him down twice, it was not looking like Sebastian Vettel would make it to be champion. Everybody was expecting to see Alonso up on that Dais with the celebratory champagne but it just was not meant to be.

Another one of the top moments of the 2012 F1 season is the scooping up of the number one position by Red Bull Racing – Renault in the best constructors’ category. Mclaren fought and got to seven wins in the entire season and so had Red Bull. Ferrari was utterly left in the dust managing to win only 3. Despite having the most inferior car amongst the top 3 constructors, it was quite a tremendous feat for Ferrari to finish at second beating McLaren.
